MS Paint Created Horror Title ‘World of Horror’ To Launch This October on PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC

Ysbryd Games announced that the panstasz-developed text-based horror title, World of Horror, will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on October 19, 2023.

During gameplay, players will play through various stories from the point of view of 14 playable characters, each with their own stats and personalities to differentiate the experience. Throughout gameplay, new characters can be unlocked, which allows players to get through the narrative in different ways. The game also features RPG systems where players will take part in combat that relies on stats and weapon choice to survive.

World of Horror is a text-based horror adventure created using MS Paint to create a unique mood. Set in a small Japanese town, players will find that not everything is right here as creatures begin to terrorize the citizens.

The gameplay has players choosing an adventure and attempting to make it through alive. Using point-and-click elements, players will build a deck of event cards to use against whatever comes their way. Players will also need to make choices that affect the narrative; given that the game has rogue-lite elements, each adventure can vary no matter how many times you go through it.
