MS Paint Created Horror Title ‘World of Horror’ Gets Early Access Release Date
Ysbryd Games announced that the panstasz-developed text-based horror title World of Horror will launch on PC-via Steam Early Access on February 20. The game is also in development for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch to release in late 2020.
World of Horror is a text-based horror adventure created using MS paint to give the game a unique mood. Set in a small Japanese town, players will find that not everything is right here as creatures begin to terrorize the citizens.
The gameplay has players choosing an adventure and attempt to make it through alive. Using point-and-click elements, players will build a deck of event cards to use against whatever comes their way. Players will also need to make choices that affect the narrative, given that the game has rogue-lite elements each adventure can vary no matter how many times you go through it.
There are five different playable characters, each with their own story and a different perspective of the events. Gameplay features, turn-based battles, puzzle-solving, and exploration.
The developer released a new gameplay trailer to give players a preview of the terror that awaits them in this new adventure. It’s a good showcase of the game’s features and art style.
