PQube released a new trailer for the Arc System Works developed adventure visual novel World End Syndrome, available now on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch digitally in North America and launching on June 14 digitally and physically in Europe, with a day-one edition available.

The trailer focuses on the multiple romanceable routes that players can find themselves in as they figure out more about the strange events happening around town. Throughout the game, players will make choices about how to spend their time and multiple playthroughs will reveal new truths about characters and their situations.

World End Syndrome tells the story of a mysterious adventure following the events after a high school girl goes missing and her body is found by a river. Throughout the story, players will collect clues with the help of their friends as they figure out what exactly happened. Furthermore, the story allows players to freely explore different scenes as they become closer to the five heroines in the game.

World End Syndrome is written and directed by 7’scarlet scenario writer and director Kanazawa Tomio. The story follows a male protagonist who moves to the sea town of Mihate and begins as he starts his first day of school. However, it seems like there’s a mystery to discover when a local legend suggests that every 100 years the dead come back to life.
