Wolfenstein: Youngblood Gets Release Date and Shows Co-op Gameplay in New Trailer

During Bethesda’s E3 2019 briefing, MachineGames and Arkane Studios revealed that Wolfenstein Youngblood will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia on July 26.

Wolfenstein Youngblood is set in the 1980s, two decades after the events of the previous adventure, and BJ Blazkowicz has gone missing. During gameplay, it’s up to Anya Oliwa’s twin daughters, Jessica and Sophia, to track him down and save him in Paris. The series is typically a solo experience, but this title will allow players to take on missions with a friend as they each play as one of the twin daughters.

With the trailer, players get a glimpse of some of the environments that the two girls will be able to explore and kill Nazis in. Additionally, players get the chance to see what the multiplayer gameplay looks like. It essentially gives players the ability to flank enemies with their friends as they rush into dangerous situations together. What’s not detailed is how the game’s difficulty will scale with or without a co-op partner, but the trailer does a great job at showing some pretty badass moments of the gameplay.

Wolfenstein Youngblood will launch on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, and Google Stadia on July 26.
