Wolfenstein II and Alan Wake Composers Join to Compose Score for Remedy’s Control

505 Games announced that the Remedy developed supernatural action adventure, Control, will be composed by two renowned composers.

The upcoming game will have a score by Martin Stig Andersen, who is known for his works on Inside and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Petri Alanko who previously worked on other Remedy titles including Alan Wake and Quantum Break. The two composers will deliver an eerie arrangement with an ensemble of orchestral and electronic music.

Additionally, the team released a new interview video where the composers talk about their approach to putting together the score as well as approaching game design. The world of Control is unique and dark which the composer aims to capture within the music.

Control puts players in the role of Jesse Faden, a secret agent who must fight an otherworldly threat after being invaded. The game features sandbox-style elements that allow the player to take on enemies in various ways. In a fight, players will be able to use a combination of supernatural ability, modify their loadouts, and journey through reactive environments.

Control will launch on August 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via the Epic Games store.
