Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Reveals New Details in Trailer and Screenshots
Koei Tecmo released gameplay details for the Team Ninja-developed action-adventure, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Windows and Steam. Game Pass and PC players will be able to play the game a day early.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty follows a nameless militia soldier who is fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Hand Dynasty. Demons plague the Three Kingdoms and our hero must fight them off using swordplay based on Chinese martial arts.
The game is a joint creation by Team Ninja producers Fumihiko Yasuda (Nioh) and Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne).
The narrative follows this hero through a unique story based on the Three Kingdoms. Defeating enemies will boost morale and awaken a special power in the hero as players take on challenges using the Five Phases of battle styles.
More information about the game will be revealed soon. The publisher released new screenshots and a trailer to highlight early cinematic gameplay and combat styles.
