Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Launching Worldwide for PlayStation, Xbox & PC March 2023

Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja have announced that their hardcore action-adventure, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, will be launching for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows on March 3, 2023. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have day-one access to the title on console and PC.

The initial tweet sharing this new release date announcement is viewable below:

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty follows a nameless militia soldier who is fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Hand Dynasty. Demons plague the Three Kingdoms, and our hero must fight them off using swordplay based on Chinese martial arts.

The game is a joint creation by Team Ninja producers Fumihiko Yasuda (Nioh) and Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne).

The narrative follows this hero through a unique story based on the Three Kingdoms. Defeating enemies will boost morale and awaken a special power in the hero as players take on challenges using the Five Phases of battle styles. Plenty of customization is one of the primary selling points.
