Dungeon Crawler ‘Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls’ Gets PC Release Date

XSEED Games announced that the Acquire-developed classic dungeon crawler Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls will launch on PC-via Steam and the Humble Store on January 15 for $14.99.

The PC release of Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls will include enhanced visuals along with all of the previously released DLC bundled with the game. Additional options include a new Turbo Mode, which speeds up the player during dungeon crawling.

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is a classic 3D dungeon-crawler that remains true to its roots, with all the deep gameplay longtime fans have come to know and love. The PC release will have all the visuals be reborn in glorious high-definition, and along with new stories, breathing new life and hitherto unseen replay value into one of the old-school RPG greats.

In the game, players will choose each of their six-team members’ class, race, gender, and moral alignment, then delve into one of several dungeons near the central town hub. However, adventuring won’t be so easy as monsters are vicious, deadly, and attack in packs. Because of this, planning each expedition carefully is going to be vital, and players will need to stay focused at all times. In between expeditions, players have the option to chat with the locals, pick up new quests, pray for guidance at the temple, go bargain-hunting for new/rare equipment, and more.

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls originally launched on PlayStation 3 in the west on June 1, 2011.
