During Anime Expo 2019, Sol Press announced their plans to publish the Windmill Oasis visual novel Witch’s Garden to PC in the west.
Witch’s Garden tells the story of the main protagonist Yousuke who decided to attend school in the busy city of Kazashiro. Known for its Western-style houses and high-class charm, Yousuke might feel like he doesn’t fit in. Well, to make matters worse, it seems like a witch by the name of Ayari will be living with him at the boarding house known as Oasis, which is owned by his aunt Yuuko.
Throughout the story, Yousuke will meet other witches, Suzuno and Misumi, as well as reunites with his older childhood friend Ririko, who is like his sister and is also a knight. Things aren’t really normal from this point on for Yousuke, so the reader will pretty much be along for the ride. However, there’s always the chance for romance.
Witch’s Garden features an E-mote sprite system which animates the characters on screen. Windmill Oasis is also the developer of the Happiness series which Sol Press is also localizing in the west.
The release date for Witch’s Garden will be announced soon, but it shouldn’t be too far away.
