Following the PC launch of the remake of the TYPE-MOON visual novel Witch on the Holy Night, Aniplex has announced that this release has an updated localization.
The PlayStation 4 and Switch versions of the game don’t yet have this update, but they will receive it at an unspecified later date.
You can view Aniplex’s quoted message below:
“The localization of the Steam version of Witch on the Holy Night has been updated following its original release on consoles. This localization update will be available for the Nintendo Switcha and PlayStation 4 versions at a later date. Thank you for your patience and continued support of Witch on the Holy Night.”
Witch on the Holy Night tells the story of a trio who lives together in an old Western mansion on the outskirts of a Japanese town. Rumors say that a witch lives in the place, and they might actually not be so far-fetched. After all, Aoko Aozaki does study her sorcery in the area under the tutelage of Alice Kuonji.
During the Showa Era (the 1980s), a young man called Soujuurou Shizuki meets the two of them. He comes from a rural area and has slowly been adjusting to the new reality of high school in the city.
In the new edition, Aoko is voiced by Haruka Tomatsu, Kana Hanazawa voices Alice, and Yuusuke Kobayashi voices Soujuurou.
Witch on the Holy Night is also available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Tsukihime -A Piece of Blue Glass Moon- has been confirmed to be released in the West for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in the Summer of 2024.
