Following publisher PQube teasing a mysterious announcement likely correlating to the White Day franchise, Target has revealed a listing for a native PlayStation 5 version of White Day: A Labyrinth Named School. The store page also states that this port will release on September 30, 2022, for $39.99. Further, over 30 pieces of costume DLC will be freely included.
It’s highly probable that at least one of the announcements planned for May 31, 2022, was about this port. Other news seems likely as well, though, given the overt vagueness PQube’s teasing has induced.
The White Day entries have been known for their horror and puzzle elements. Players traveled around the school and interacted with supernatural objects to progress. Most of the time, a janitor was roaming the halls, ready to catch and kill you if caught. It was a decently fun game, but it lost some of its novelty over multiple playthroughs.
White Day 2: the flower that tell lies was initially revealed last year. Not much information on that game has been shared other than “Born as a flower, but never was the one. So I became the lie swallowing the truth.”
White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is available for PlayStation 4, mobile devices, and PC.
