About Where Winds Meet
Where Winds Meet is set during the tenth-century China’s Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. The open world features a mix of historical drama, all rooted in traditional wuxia themes.
Combat combines martial arts with weapons, allowing players to fight with swords, spears, dual blades, fans, or umbrellas. Weapon switching and techniques are available, whether players prefer close combat, ranged attacks, or stealth.
Beyond fighting, the game emphasizes exploration. There are roughly 20 regions filled with points of interest, side activities, and evolving world states influenced by time, weather, and player choice. Activities such as playing flutes under willows, drinking beneath lanterns, or in a tomb, are part of the game loop.
Where Winds Meet is available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Windows, the Epic Games Store, and Steam. The mobile version of the title will be released on December 12, 2025, and feature cross-play and shared progression with the PC and PlayStation 5 versions.
