Episodic Narrative Game ‘We Are OFK’ Debuts Gameplay in Trailer

Led by co-designer of game Hyper Light Drifter, Team OFK shows off new gameplay footage for the episodic narrative game We Are OFK  during Wholesome Direct 2021.

We Are OFK looks into the life of Itsumi Saito and her friends, hoping to make it big in music. The game follows their intertwining stories as they struggle to make ends meet as they have to go through the trials and tribulations of living in a big city.

Itsumi begins life anew in Downtown Los Angeles after breaking up with her long-term girlfriend. Hoping to make waves and become a new sensation in the cutthroat music industry, she and her friends meet a producer at a Hollywood party, and they become the catalyst for their musical journey.

We Are OFK dives deep into the struggles and conflicts for each of the friends, whether it be their dating life, arguing over lyrics, paying rent, or juggling time for music practice.

The gameplay is shown to be a narrative, featuring 5 episodes of an interactive animated series and 5 interactive music videos. The interactive dialogue in the series and videos are all fully voiced.

We are OFK is available to wishlist now on Steam. There is no release date at this time.
