WayForward Announce Rose and Camellia Collection Coming to Switch; A Remake of 2007 Flash Game Where You Slap the Haters

During Anime Expo 2023, WayForward hosted a panel to reveal they are publishing Rose and Camellia Collection on Nintendo Switch.

The studio confirmed they are working with the original developer Nigoro on the project alongside Limited Run Games.

Rose and Camellia Collection is a remake of a 2007 flash game from developer Nigoro, Rose and Camellia. The game follows Reiko Tsubakikoji, who is trying to become the Matriach of the household. However, to do so, she must get into slap battles with other female foes.

Rose and Camellia Collection has only been announced for Switch. From a gameplay trailer, we see that the game features Switch motion controls, which we assume have to do with dodging slaps from others.

There’s no further information about the game at this time, but the developer promised to release new information in the coming weeks.
