Taking place in room 403 AB between 3:30 PM and 4:20 PM, this vague statement has the potential of hinting toward significant news. We’ll be sure to keep you all updated on any major announcements made during Anime Expo 2023.
WayForward previously announced that their beat-’em-up title, River City Girls 2, has received a significant update patch on all platforms, featuring over 100 adjustments. Perhaps most significant is the implementation of 60 FPS on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.
The original River City Girls tells the story of Kyoko and Misako, two high-schoolers who know a thing or two about defending themselves as they explore the six regions of River City to rescue their kidnapped boyfriends, who happen to Kunio and Riki. Players will utilize the game’s combo mechanics, including counters, throws, and special attacks as they fight their way through the streets. They’ll also be able to interact with NPCs, which includes guest stars from previous River City titles.
River City Girls 2 is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
