Warcraft III: Reforged Launches on PC as an Updated Reimagining of the Classic RTS

Blizzard announced that Warcraft III: Reforged is now live for players to return to Azeroth and play through the classic real-time strategy title.

Warcraft III: Reforged is a reimagining of Warcraft III and includes each of the available expansions including, Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne. The game puts a focus on its single-player content as players can experience the seven campaigns with updated graphics, sounds, and mechanics. Additionally, the game features online modes with updated social and matchmaking features.

“Warcraft III is one of our proudest achievements as a company, and we’re honored that so many players around the world still hold it up as a paragon of the RTS genre,” said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment. “With Warcraft III: Reforged, our biggest goal was to modernize the game while retaining everything that players have loved about it, and we hope everyone agrees that we’ve done it justice.”

Warcraft III: Reforged includes 60 missions to play through as one of the four available factions, Orcs, Human, Night Elves, and Undead. The story will take players through the story of Azeroth’s history as they discover more about the Lich King, and learn the origins of characters such as Thrall, Jaina Proudmoore, Sylvanas Windrunner, and Illidan Stormrage.
