Final Fantasy Tactics Returns to War of the Visions Because That’s All We Really Want

Square Enix revealed a new collaboration between their tactics RPG War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and their classic SRPG title Final Fantasy Tactics will be coming west on iOS and Android.

The collaboration begins today through September 15 where players can play through the second part of the event. Players will have access to a few new dungeons and characters as well as additional rewards.

During the event, players will be able to summon Agrias (UR), Delita (UR), and Mustadio (MR) and the Vision Cards UR Blades of Grass and MR Red Chocobo. Also, players who obtain the Vision Card Red Chocobo will also obtain the Red Chocobo Esper. Ramza and Orlandeau will also return as summons.

There’s a log-in bonus available along with extra rewards for players who complete the event quest and high difficulty Ex-Quest lines. Each of these quests leads players to memorable locations against powerful enemies.

Lastly, beginning today, players can begin new story content with the release of Chapter 8, Scene 2.

War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius launched in Japan in 2019 and has since surpassed nine million downloads. The game is a standalone experience that draws inspiration from the developer’s previous tactical RPGs and is based in the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius universe.

During gameplay, players will find themselves on the continent of Ardra as a war of the nations unfolds. Players follow the story of twin princes, Mont and Stern, from the kingdom of Leonis, who possess the power of visions, and Machérie, the Steel Maiden of Hourne.
