War of the Visions Final Fantasy Reveals Duane as Exclusive Global Unit

Square Enix revealed a new character for their tactical RPG, War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, available now on iOS and Android.

From December 23 through January 5, players can obtain a UR Duane through summoning with several ways to obtain unit shards and enhancement materials for him. UR Duane’s main job class is “Dark Knight of Remorse,” and he also has the “Viking” and “Dragoon” sub-jobs. He plays as an offensive unit with his high attack power and HP. Duane’s Limit burst “Death Scythe,” deals 2-hit damage to targets.

The new character will have a Login event with items to enhance a UR Duane unit. Additionally, players can obtain 120 Duane unit shards by clearing Challenge Missions.

Additional unique also includes UR Luartha and MR Tyytas from December 23 through January 5. Each character has their own Challenge Quests to obtain character shards. Lastly, Main Story Chapter 11, Scene 1 has been released for all players.

War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius launched in Japan in 2019 and has since surpassed nine million downloads. The game is a standalone experience that draws inspiration from the developer’s previous tactical RPGs and is based in the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius universe.

During gameplay, players will find themselves on the continent of Ardra as a war of the nations unfolds. Players follow the story of twin princes, Mont and Stern, from the kingdom of Leonis, who possess the power of visions, and Machérie, the Steel Maiden of Hourne.
