SRPG ‘War of Ashird’ Launches Kickstarter to Fund Development for PC, PS4, and Switch Release

Igrasil Studio has launched a Kickstarter seeking money to assist with funding for the Kumiho Soft-co-developed SRPG War of Ashird, in development for PC-via Steam, PS4, and Switch.

War of Ashird is a turn-based strategy RPG where players can create parties of up to 7 characters to engage the enemy. Missions will include taking down a boss, laying siege to a castle, or conquering new territory. During gameplay, players can visit 20 different towns full of new guild quests and side-missions. Party members will each have their own unique personality and story to discover as players unlock new skills and abilities through combat. Players will also have a choice during gameplay as to whether destroy everything or protect individual kingdoms, which also shapes the course of the narrative.

The Kickstarter is currently asking for $82,000, to help with the game’s development to completion. The team has worked on the title for three years now and “managed to finish the most intensive parts of development and asset creation/design. We hope that, through the examples and screenshots above, it’s clear that we’re dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our players!”

Currently, the team is playing on releasing on PC  in 2021, with a PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch release planned for 2022. The developer also hopes to have demos ready for backers closer to the end of the year with plans to launch in Early Access in early 2021.

Pledging $30 will get you a digital copy of the game.
