110 Industries and Soleil released a new trailer for their high-action game, Wanted: Dead, coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 14, 2022.
The trailer highlights combat where players can utilize an arsenal of weapons to clear the room of enemies. The game encourages players to use all of Hannah’s weapons because her equipped rifle won’t be enough. In combat, players can pick up enemy assault rifles, SMGs, LMGs, and grenade launchers to use against them.
One way to survive in Wanted: Dead is to stay on the move by combining run and gun mechanics, melee combat, slide attacks, grenade tossing, and takedowns to overcome your enemies in a seamless style. The game encourages skill-based play and an understanding of its combat mechanics.
“We can’t wait for players to experience the insane combat mechanics in Wanted: Dead on Valentine’s Day,” said Sergei Kolobashkin, founder and Creative Director at 110 Industries. “The Wanted: Dead Explained videos will allow players to get a real taste of the action and see what they can expect from the game, so keep your eyes open for the next one!”.
Wanted: Dead is an action game that mixes swordplay with gun combat. The development team includes members who worked on Ninja Gaiden, and it shows in the action. Players must utilize skills and abilities to take down waves of enemies, but there are also parry techniques and other mechanics that add a layer of depth to the encounters. “The reward will be aesthetically pleasing bouts of blood and violence and the sense of satisfaction that comes with becoming a flawless fighting machine.”
Wanted: Dead tells the story of Lt. Hannah Stone, who has been imprisoned after losing the global war. She is given a chance to escape and puts together a team of people known as the “Zombie Squad” to get the job done. The game’s narrative reveals corruption within a company called Dauer Synthetics, and Hannah is about to take them down.
