Daughter-Raising Sim ‘Volcano Princess’ Gets Western Release Date Set for April; Free Demo Available Now

Gamera Games announced that the Egg Hatcher Studio-developed daughter-raising sim Volcano Princess will launch on PC via Steam on April 21, 2023.

Volcano Princess will feature both Chinese and Japanese audio options along with its English translation. The Japanese version will be voiced by Nakahara Mai (Tales of Vesperia, CLANNAD).

There’s a free demo available now on Steam.

During gameplay, players are tasked with raising a daughter in a dangerous world. After the death of their spouse, players will need to raise their daughter and teach them right from wrong. However, every choice affects the story, which features over 50 different endings.

Throughout the game, players can interact with various characters to learn more about the state of the region and take on various tasks. As players spend time with their daughter, they’ll need to understand her likes and dislikes. This includes spending time developing hobbies and taking on different jobs and activities. As the princess grows, players will need to adapt to their various interests.

When the daughter is old enough, she’ll pledge allegiance to one of the three lords of the land. If she impresses them enough, she’ll be able to compete in the Grand Volcano Festival to show off her skills. More importantly, daughters can become evil, too, so there’s that.
