Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars’ Soundtrack Now Available on Apple Music

The official Square Enix Music Twitter account has announced that the soundtrack for the recently released Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is now digitally available via Apple Music for $11.99. There are a total of 14 tracks from the title.

The hub page for the game’s original soundtrack has comments from Music Director Keiichi Okabe, Creative Director Yoko Taro, and Executive Producer Yosuke Saito. While brief, each of their words provide insight into the soundtrack’s identity and development, aside from Yoko Taro’s, which are expectedly humorous.

A physical CD release of the soundtrack is also planned.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is a new deck-building RPG where players will use cards in a way that unravels a narrative. The game is headed by creative director Yoko Taro, who fans will know from the Drakengard and NieR series.

Further, other creative minds from the NieR team have joined development, including Yosuke Saito, Keiichi Okabe, and Kimihiko Fujisaka.

If you missed it, check out our review of the title’s PlayStation 4 release. I think this game is a much appreciated fresh step from Yoko Taro’s work with the expectedness of NieR and the like. Hopefully, it succeeds and leads to further creative avenues.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
