Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars Has Released Worldwide

Publisher and developer Square Enix has announced that Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars has now been released worldwide on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

If you missed it, check out our review of the title’s PlayStation 4 release. I think this game is a much appreciated fresh step from Yoko Taro from the expectedness of NieR and the like.  Hopefully, it succeeds and leads to further creative avenues.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars has been revealed to be a new deck-building RPG where players will use cards in a way that unravels a narrative. The game is headed by creative director Yoko Taro, who fans will know from the Drakengard and NieR series.

Further, other creative minds from the NieR team have joined development, including Yosuke Saito, Keiichi Okabe, and Kimihiko Fujisaka. This is an incredible lineup of developers, but it’s tough to say what this game will be. At this point, we don’t know what to expect from this group.
