If you missed it, check out our review of the title’s PlayStation 4 release. I think this game is a much appreciated fresh step from Yoko Taro’s work with the expectedness of NieR and the like. Hopefully, it succeeds and leads to further creative avenues.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars has been revealed to be a new deck-building RPG where players will use cards in a way that unravels a narrative. The game is headed by creative director Yoko Taro, who fans will know from the Drakengard and NieR series.

Further, other creative minds from the NieR team have joined development, including Yosuke Saito, Keiichi Okabe, and Kimihiko Fujisaka. This is an incredible lineup of developers. At this point, we don’t know what to expect from this group.

You can read the game’s DLC content information and view numerous character renders alongside officially shared screenshots here.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
