Comedic Romance Visual Novel ‘Sugar Style’ Coming West to PC in April
NekoNyan announced they will publish the SMEE-developed comedic romance visual novel Sugar Style in the west to PC on April 30, 2021.
Sugar Style was a surprise release from the publisher and is a follow-up release from the developer of Making Lovers. The game is being translated by MasterofMemes and edited by FredTheBarber.
Sugar Style introduces players to Oribe Kazuki, a boy who has it pretty rough after his parents found themselves in money problems from mismanagement. However, their luck may change after he enters a vocational college for digital music creation. Like most situations that visual novels introduce, you can expect this next one. When he arrives at the school, he finds that he will be staying in an all-girls dorm. Sure, he’s unpopular amongst them at first, but then he earns their trust.
Gameplay is largely comedic and over-the-top, which the developer is known for. Players can make choices during dialogue to enter the route of their chosen best girl. Spending time with the girls will change their attitude towards you. The game’s western release will feature demosaiced CGs.
