Romance Visual Novel ‘Song of Memories’ Finally Releasing for Switch Nearly 6 Years Later
Future Tech Lab has announced that their romantic school-life supernatural visual novel, Song of Memories, will finally make its way to Nintendo Switch next week, on March 23, 2023.
For those unaware, this game was initially launched for PlayStation 4 in 2017 and even received a localization in 2019, with a PC port via Steam under the title “Complete Scenario,” having launched in 2018.
Interestingly, a Switch version was initially considered but was canceled due to development complications. However, it appears the team has prevailed against those issues, so more fans of the genre can enjoy this unique romantic adventure.
Song of Memories follows two general halves, with the first being the typical rom-com slice-of-life antics you’d expect from the presentation and such. Over 100 common route events are viewable with six love interests, setting the stage for when circumstances become dire in the later hours. Further, alongside it being a fully voiced experience, players can look forward to the utilization of the 2D animation tool “E-mote” for a livelier presentation with enhanced facial expressions.
You can pre-order Song of Memories via the Nintendo Switch eShop and take advantage of a 10% discount lasting until the final PT minute of March 23, 2023.
