Publisher Sekai Project has announced that the third mainline entry in the tactics and visual novel hybrid Sunrider series by developer Love Space, Sunrider 4, will launch for PC via Steam at a currently unknown time. This game follows the events of the previous title, Sunrider: Liberation Day.
The reason for the 4 in the title, despite this being the third entry, is because the debut game, Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius, contains the first two chapters of the narrative, First Arrival and Mask of Arcadius. The story follows protagonist Kayto Shields as he befriends and unites with several allies to combat an evil galactic threat. He aims to retake his planet and bring peace to the galaxy while utilizing his titular ship, the Sunrider.
A new trailer was also shared for Sunrider 4, showcasing various conversations with the heroines, affection bonuses, and the tactical combat the series is partially known for. We’ll keep you all updated on any significant developments pertaining to this title.
Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius is a free-to-download game on Steam, with Liberation Day being a paid experience. Additionally, the franchise has a high-school dating simulation spinoff, Sunrider Academy, which is also available on the same platform.
