PQube announced that the Red Entertainment developed supernatural visual novel Our World is Ended. will be delayed from its original March 26 release date to a new release date of April 18 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Europe and digitally in North America, while the physical version on Switch and PS4 in North America will be pushed back further to May 7.
The cause of the delay has been pinned on the title’s antagonist character, Obscenity Man, who regularly appears in the form a glitched man. However, this delay is unfortunate.
Our World is Ended. takes place on in a world where video games begin to appear in the real world thanks to a new VR tech. A group of kids known as the Judgement 7 is trapped between these two and begin to understand the consequences that come with it.
In Our World is Ended, players will get to know the entire group of developers as they switch between the real and augmented worlds. This will also introduce the player to characters who can only be found in the augmented reality world.
Gameplay in Our World is Ended has the players enter an S.O.S system at certain points of the story where you’ll see the main protagonist Reiji’s emotions on the screen, which players will need to react to.
In case you missed it, you can check out the limited edition of the game that was previously announced.
The game is over 40 hours long with player interaction and a large cast of voice actors to get players through the story.
