Visual Novel ‘MAMIYA’ Coming West to PC in Summer 2021

Fruitbat Factory announced they will publish the Kenkou Land-developed adventure visual novel MAMIYA in the west on PC-via Steam in Summer 2021.

MAMIYA is a dark visual novel set in Tokyo during the year that the world was prophesied to end. This is around the time that a child named Mamiya appeared. As the world attempted to move on with their lives and mourn the loss of individual people, time seemed to be passing them up. Mamiya has wormed their way into these people’s lives, which takes them down a new path. There’s a real sense of dread brought on by this, but it might not be all that bad.

MAMIYA features fantasy and supernatural themes with a narrative that includes 83 CGs to help immerse the player. Additionally, there are 6 different endings available that change depending on the choices players make during dialogue.

The developer describes the mature content of the visual novel as Blood, violence, scary imagery.

Additionally, the publisher released that opening movie, which features some of the themes and sets up the story. Given that it won’t be published until Summer 2021, this is a good way to hold us off.

MAMIYA has been translated by Conjueror and Andrew Hodgson, and edited by Gerejei.
