Visual Novel Love’s Sweet Garnish Gets Steam Release Date and Details

Sekai Project announced that the Convas+Garden developed doujinshi visual novel Love’s Sweet Garnish will release on PC-via Steam on September 7.

Love’s Sweet Garnish tells the story of Asaki who wishes to revitalize his grandmother’s cafe. Evidently, Asaki needs help to which two females, Rira Niwasaka and Richer Shionomiya, come to his aid. Together the team works together to revitalize the failing cafe by updating the menu and renovated the inside, but most importantly they all discover something along the way…friendship.

So if you’re wondering what awaits you as a reader of Love’s Sweet Garnish, well I’m sure it’s not going to be anything groundbreaking, but from the looks of it, you will be able to romance these employees, which I hope doesn’t turn into a sexual harassment case. For those who want to share more intimate moments with the girls, well there’s an adult version of the game available on Denpasoft, with the release date pending.

Love’s Sweet Garnish is fully voiced in Japanese, except for the main character (duh, cause that’s you!). The game also supports English, Japanese, and Chinese language options. There are two routes in the story and the characters were designed by Miyasaka Miyu and Miyasaka Nako, who have produced their fair share of hentai art.

Author’s take: There is always a time and place for romance visual novels and I appreciate this one trying to incorporate a tragic grandmother who needs help with a cafe storyline. However, I feel like I know the ending without even playing the game. With that said, I’m always willing to be surprised and proven wrong. So, bring on Love’s Sweet Garnish!
