Visual Novel ‘KamiYaba: Destiny on a Dicey Deadline’ Coming West Next Week

Publisher Shiravune has announced KamiYaba: Destiny on a Dicey Deadline. The 18+ visual novel is known in Japan as Kamidanomi Shisugite Ore no Mirai ga Yabai and it’ll be available in English for PC -via Johren. As has been the case for previous Shiravune games, the company will release it on short notice, with KamiYaba‘s release date set for January 21.

Developed by Hulotte, KamiYaba tells the story of a young boy called Hajime Kanbayashi. Wishing to be popular with the girls he goes around various temples collecting charms until one day a self-proclaimed goddess of marriage called Urara shows up. She declares Hajime absolutely has to get a girlfriend within a year or he’ll stay a virgin forever.

Luckily, he’s not without help, as Urara presents three cute girls to him. The first one is Nanami Nagumo (CV: Ichigo Donari), who’s the prime minister’s daughter. Another possibility is the popular idol Suzuna Akagi (CV: Kokoro Moriya). Last but not least is Yukari Suou (CV: Kanau), who’s Japan’s greatest detective. Each of them is a little weird in their own ways.

KamiYaba‘s story is written by Yuki Miyama, who also worked on Hyper→Highspeed→Genius, and the illustrator is Akane Ikegami (from Amusement Park, published by Hirameki International). Check out the Japanese opening video below:
