Visual Novel ‘Far Away’ Coming West to PC

X.D. Network announced they will publish the HongCha Games-developed visual novel Far Away on PC-via Steam in the west at an unannounced date.

Far Away is a visual novel developed by various producers and artists who have worked on Touhou Project content, Arknights, and Girls Frontline in the past. The themes of the game focus on corruption, gangsters, and politics. Players will learn more about how choices have defined effects on the outcome of events and one small deviation from that path can change the world.

Far Away features branching storylines based on dozens of choices. Players will assume the role of Krosa Nonet, a bay worker in the town of Bedjan who finds herself wrapped up with the city’s underworld. The choices that players make will not only impact Krosa but also the state of the city. During gameplay, players can also interact with the environment, find clues, and explore different character perspectives as they piece together the mystery of Bedjan. Far Away contain 500,000 words of text across 8 storylines.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release date of Far Away and any new information.
