Otome Visual Novel ‘Variable Barricade’ Gets Western Release Window on Switch

Aksys Games announced that the Design Factory and Otomate-developed Variable Barricade will launch on Nintendo Switch in February 2022.

Variable Barricade follows Hibari Toujou, who is the only daughter of her family. However, she’s met with a predicament after a group of men appears at her door as groom candidates who have been sent by her grandfather, a person she’s not too fond of.

There are some ulterior motives behind these candidates and Hibari is cautious. There are four possible men to romance and they don’t seem to mind her reluctant attitude as long as she makes a decision soon.

The male characters are, Taiga Isurugi (VO Okamoto Nobuhiko), Shion Mayuzumi (VO Nojima Kenji), Ichiya Mitsumori (VO Toriumi Kousuke), and Nayuta Yagami (VO Shimono Hiro).
