New ‘Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong’ Trailer Presents the Seductive Vampire Emem from the Clan of the Rose

Nacon has shared a new trailer for the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. It shows Emem, one of the three protagonists of the narrative-focused title in action. The World of Darkness narrative RPG will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC -via Epic Store– on May 19, 2022.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong shows the story of three vampires whose intersecting stories will severely impact Boston. Each of them have their own individual skills and their actions should have huge consequences not only for themselves but also for the entire Boston Camarilla, the vampire organization that regulates their activities in the city from the shadows.

Emem is an interesting figure in this world as she’s quite the atypical member of the lords of the night. Coming from the Clan of the Rose “Toreador”, she is the owner of cabaret clubs which managed to become safe havens for the interaction of all sorts of vampires. As she aims to increase her influence, the Prince will have his eyes on her.

On the new video, the developers also talk about her appearance, as a member of Toreador, she is a seductive figure who loves to wear seductive outfits. While other characters will often go to recon missions, her part of the story is usually tied to negotiations. Using her Discipline power to her favor, she has a charming presence that is much too hard to ignore.

Flexible and sociable, she gets to know a wide range of people from different organizations and political positions. By interacting with them, she will get to see how rigid the Camarilla structure is and question herself about the best course of actions.
