Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Announces Developer The Chinese Room Ahead of Fall 2024 Release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S & PC; Gameplay Reveal January 2024

Paradox Interactive has announced that the developer for the upcoming action RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be the Sumo Digital studio, The Chinese Room. They have worked on several titles, including Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is planned to launch in Fall 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Additionally, a gameplay reveal is planned for January 2024.

Ed Daly, Studio Director at The Chinese Room, said the following about this news:

“Vampire: The Masquerade holds a special place in our hearts. The story world’s dark setting filled with intricate narratives built on top of modern society perfectly fits our studio’s catalog. Bloodlines 2 is our most ambitious project to date.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to be the first Bloodlines’ successor, occurring in the darkness of Seattle, where vampires struggle to continue their existence. Players will control an Elder vampire who will meet several unique characters and navigate intricate political relationships. At the same time, they will seek prey and engage in combat while ensuring their necessity for blood doesn’t consume them.

Further, one must be cognizant of their environment so they don’t break the Masquerade, “the absolute law of secrecy that keeps vampire society hidden from humanity.”
