Developer and publisher poncle has announced that its viral action roguelike Vampire Survivors has gained Steam Community items today, comprising the following:
- 5 Trading Cards
- 6 Badges
- 5 Emoticons
- 3 Profile Backgrounds
The team is also looking into making animated point shop items and other awards.
Additionally, poncle announced that the game will fully transfer over from Phaser to its new engine on August 17, 2023, the same date that the game will receive its co-op update and launch for Nintendo Switch. The game was previously running on the old and new engines in parallel on Steam.
Lastly, IGN’s latest Showcase stream presented co-op gameplay of Vampire Survivors in action. A new item players can look forward to is the following:
“This item can appear on the level-up screen and will level-up a random active weapon for each player. Players will have to decide if they tactically (or selfishly) pick a level-up for a weapon of their choice or give the whole group a round of random level-up.”
