Sega Teaches Europan History in Valkyria Chronicles 4 and Reveals DLC Release Dates
Sega released a new video for gamers to learn about the history of the world in the Valkyria Chronicles series to catch players up in Valkyria Chronicles 4, which is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The video is hosted by Douglas Welch as he narrates the history of Europa and more specifically the First and Second Europan wars. Sure, the video is comical at times, but it takes itself seriously enough to actually learn something about the story of Valkyria Chronicles and acts as a great way to catch players up. However, this could also be beneficial to players because the west never received Valkyria Chronicles 3, which released on PSP in 2011 in Japan.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 takes place during the same time as Valkyria Chronicles but stars a new cast of characters. Players will get to know Commander Claude Wallace, Riley Miller, Darcsen Raz, Kai Schulen, and others over the story as they control their units in battle and win a war.
Players will control units in the third –person as they take turns positioning and strategically planning their assault throughout missions. Additionally, units will have a new “Last Stand” feature that gives them an action before death.
Additionally, Sega released the DLC release dates:

Author’s take: I’ve been waiting a long time for Valkyria Chronicles 4, but not as long as I’ve been waiting for Valkyria Chronicles 3. This is a series that deserves the attention of fans of RTS titles, you should really check it out.
