BL Visual Novel ‘UuultraC’ Releases on PC in the West
MangaGamer has released the Adelta-developed boy love visual novel, UuultraC, on PC-via MangaGamer and Steam on March 24, 2022.
UuultraC was initially released in Japan in 2020 and came from the developers of Hashihime of the Old Book Town. The story is set in March of 1970, where Shoutarou lives together with his boyfriend, Kozuka, in Sohigaya, Tokyo.
In these times, people have been turning in kaiju after suffering from an infectious disease. With one side protesting for acceptance of those infected, restlessness is in the air. Shoutarou is an advocate for justice, but his life changes in a big way after he’s drenched in kaiju blood.
The story incorporates kaiju, superheroes, and giant robots. Players will follow three protagonists, Choutsugai Shirou (VO: Kaburagi Makoto), Kagome Shoutarou (VO: Sano Yuuri), and Sayashi Juurou (VO: Kanzaki Tomoya), in an avant-garde tokusatsu drama filled with relics of the Showa Era. Further, there are aspects of romance between the characters.
The developers describe the content like this:
This title contains mature content that may not be suitable for all audiences including inappropriate language, violence, self-harm, gore, nudity, and sexual situations between men.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of UuultraC in the west.
