Utawareruomono Prequel ‘Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten’ Japan PlayStation Demo Launching This Week

Developer Aquaplus has announced that their turn-based RPG to the Utawareruomono franchise, Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten, will receive a PlayStation demo in Japan on November 2 at 19:00 JST. Players will be able to progress up to a certain point in Chapter 3, and save data can be transferred to the full retail version.

While the game will have PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 editions in Japan, only the PC version has been announced for western release by publisher Shiravune. NIS America localized the first game’s remake on PlayStation 4, but it is unknown whether they will do the same for this upcoming new entry. Moreover, there is currently no word on whether the English Steam version of the game will receive a demo.

Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten is launching West for PC via Steam on November 17, 2022.

The latest localized release for this series is Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen. This title is a remake of the original Utawarerumono, which was never officially released in the west. The title tells the story of events leading up to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth; both titles were initially published and localized by Atlus in the west. All three games were also released on PC by Shiravune.

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen contains extra content, remastered visuals, and a necessary piece in the puzzle for Utawarerumono fans to understand the entire story. Every scene has been enhanced, with each illustration presented in HD. Additionally, battles are displayed on complete 3D fields, and a new Special Extended Mode has been added.
