Utawarerumono Visual Novel Trilogy Heavily Discounted On PC Via Steam

Publisher Shiravune has announced that the Aquaplus developed Utawarerumono visual novel trilogy is currently discounted on PC via Steam until March 21, 2022. The items currently on sale include the following:

• Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen – $23.99 (60% off)
• Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception – $9.99 (75% off)
• Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth – $9.99 (75% off)

The aforementioned listed order is the chronological story order. DLC content for the games is also discounted, but those solely amount to extra playable characters that don’t affect the course of the narratives in any way.

The latest localized release for this series is Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen. This title is a remake of the original Utawarerumono, which was never officially released in the west. The title tells the story of events leading up to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth; both titles were originally published and localized by Atlus in the west.

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen contains extra content, remastered visuals, and a necessary piece in the puzzle for Utawarerumono fans to understand the entire story. Every scene has received an enhancement, with each illustration being presented in HD. Additionally, battles are displayed on complete 3D fields, and a new Special Extended Mode has been added.
