Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen Shows SRPG Gameplay in New Trailer
NIS America released a new trailer for the Aquaplus-developed visual novel Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen, coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on May 26 in North America and May 29 in Europe. The game is also planned to receive a PC release via Steam.
The trailer highlights gameplay outside of the visual novel story scenes. Players will be able to participate in SRPG matches where they’ll move units across a battlefield and utilize their skills and abilities against enemies. Each character has their own moveset and plays a crucial role during encounters.
Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen is a remake of the original Utawarerumono, a title that never officially released in the west. The title tells the story of events leading up to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, both titles were published and localized by Atlus in the west.
Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen contains extra content, remastered visuals, and a necessary piece in the puzzle for Utawarerumono fans to understand the entire story. Every scene has received an enhancement with each illustration being presented in HD. Additionally, battles will be displayed on full 3D fields and a new Special Extended Mode has been added.
