Utawarerumono ‘Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten’ Youtube Ad Provides September Release Date for PS4, PS5 & Steam

Following the Steam Database entry for Utawarerumono Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten, Twitter user Hansuke managed to luckily spot a Japanese Youtube advertisement that states that the title will be receiving a September 8, 2022, release date. This date is only 1 day off from the Steam Database entry, so a worldwide release is potentially feasible. Regardless, temper release window expectations until an official announcement is made by developer Aquaplus or involved parties.

The official Utawarerumono 20-year anniversary website states that April 26, 2022, 2 days from now, will be a time for celebration.

The latest localized release for this series is Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen. This title is a remake of the original Utawarerumono, which was never officially released in the west. The title tells the story of events leading up to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth; both titles were originally published and localized by Atlus in the west.

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen contains extra content, remastered visuals, and a necessary piece in the puzzle for Utawarerumono fans to understand the entire story. Every scene has received an enhancement, with each illustration being presented in HD. Additionally, battles are displayed on complete 3D fields, and a new Special Extended Mode has been added.
