Developer Aquaplus has announced that the Utawarerumono series will be hosting a 20-year celebratory live stream next month despite 2022 being the actual anniversary year. Several voice actors from the franchise will be making an appearance.

The latest localized release for this series is Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen. This title is a remake of the original Utawarerumono, which was never officially released in the west. The title tells the story of events leading up to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth; both titles were published and localized by Atlus in the west.
Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen contains extra content, remastered visuals, and a necessary piece in the puzzle for Utawarerumono fans to understand the entire story. Every scene has received an enhancement, with each illustration being presented in HD. Additionally, battles will be displayed on complete 3D fields, and a new Special Extended Mode has been added.
Additionally, Utawarerumono: ZAN 2 launched in Japan earlier this year, a Musou spinoff adapting the events of Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth.
