Yuri Visual Novel ‘UsoNatsu: The Summer Romance Bloomed From A Lie’ Delayed on Steam After Prolonged “Review” Period

Sekai Project announced that visual novel fans awaiting the Steam release of UsoNatsu: The Summer Romance Bloomed From A Lie will have to wait a bit longer. Due to Valve’s review process, the publisher announced this morning that the game has been delayed on the platform indefinitely until the review process is complete.

As far as ways to purchase the game in the West, it seems like the title hasn’t been listed on their sister company Denapsofts’ webstore either. We’ll keep an eye out for release updates and when the game will be available.

Tachibana Kaoru, a second-year student, experiences a heart-wrenching moment when her middle school homeroom teacher, Shimotsuki Mirei, shatters her heart. This emotionally charged incident is observed by Kaoru’s diligent classmate, Minagi Shiori, known for her exemplary academic record.

In her state of despair, Kaoru confides in Shiori about her painful history with Mirei. Shiori, radiating an enigmatic presence, presents an intriguing proposition: the idea of finding new love to replace the feelings they held for someone dear. Uncertain yet willing to explore this notion, Kaoru contemplates it as a potential path toward healing.

In a surprising turn of events, Shiori makes an unconventional request of Kaoru—to assist her in forgetting about her older brother. This request involves embarking on a journey through Shiori’s own memories, driven by her desire to break free from the shadows of her sibling’s excellence and regain clarity about her own aspirations.
