Action Brawler ‘UPPERS’ Coming West to PC Later This Month
XSEED announced that they are publishing the Marvelous-developed action-brawlers UPPERS in the west exclusively on PC-via Steam for an October 21 release.
Originally released on PlayStation Vita in 2016 in Japace, UPPERS has been requested by many Senran Kagura fans, since it was created by the same team. Now, the series is coming with a fully remastered release for PC players. The game now runs in 1080p 60fps with native support for higher resolution.
During gameplay, players will find themselves on Last Resort Island, a city that has been consumed by desire. Many of these citizens rely on strength to build a fortune and mean admiration. The story follows two men on their journey to the top. Along the way, players will fight using 12 different fighters and eight support characters. Each character has a background and reasons for wanting to fight.
However, let’s get one thing clear, there’s plenty of over-the-top systems here with the game full of screaming girls and even some mature elements. So there you go, a mature fighting game with a heart.
We’ll be sure to continue to cover the western release of UPPERs. Sadly, a console version doesn’t seem to be in the works for a North American release.
For now, enjoy the trailer to get an idea of the game’s improvements over the Vita release:
