Upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V Patch Will Provide Camera Adjustment, Brightness, and Other Fixes
The official Atlus Japan website has announced that their latest demon-fusing turn-based JRPG, Shin Megami Tensei V, will be receiving an upcoming patch that will provide several noteworthy fixes. Firstly, the screen brightness can be enhanced to address potential issues players can encounter in particularly dark areas. Additionally, the camera angles during the open-world exploration can also be altered to grant a better and less cumbersome perspective of the complex world.
Lastly, alongside a number of unspecified minor adjustments, gimmick jump requirements in the Demon King’s Castle will also be reduced. There is currently no planned time for when this update will be released, but the website assures fans that their official Twitter account will announce more news when relevant.

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.
When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at’. He quickly finds out that he’s’ not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at’ and hopefully get some answers about what happened to his former home.
Shin Megami Tensei V is now available for Nintendo Switch.
