Underwater Soulslike ‘Glaciered’ Releasing for PC; Trailer & Screenshots

Playism announced that they will publish the Studio Snowblind-developed underwater soulslike Glaciered, planned to launch for PC via Steam at an unknown time. Helmed by indie developer Kei SHIBUYA, this title takes place on Earth 65 million years in the future.

A world-shaping phenomenon called “Everwinter” made the planet’s surface an endlessly spanning sheet of ice, with life continuing below. Plants and fish of countless varieties populate the premises, with one of the new species being the Tuai. Descended from birds and as successors of dinosaurs, their prosperity is thanks to their unique metabolism and high level of intellect.

Players will control a particular Tuai battling to ensure that the Everwinter persists. The dynamic combat system is real-time, with both melee and ranged options, alongside several special abilities and attributes enabling the capability to thrive regardless of the temperature.

Some skills players can anticipate are high-speed swimming for swift evasion and traversal, as well as temporal crystal blades. Moreover, various environments will be explorable, and they will be distinct regardless of their collective similarity of being located underwater.
