Two-Button Rhythm Adventure ‘Unbeatable’ Launches Kickstarter

D-Cells Games launched a Kickstarter to fund the development of their narrative-driven two-button rhythm adventure Unbeatable on PC-via Steam.

The developer is asking for $55,000 to fund the game’s development. This will ensure that the developer can focus full-time on the game. However, if the game doesn’t reach its funding, it almost already has, they still plan to work on it. Right now, the team is targeting a 2023 release window for the project.

Currently, the team has shared a free demo posting to Steam today. Every week during the campaign, a new level will be added to the demo. This will provide a completely standalone experience to players. There will also be some surprises in the release.

Unbeatable is set in a world where music has been outlawed, but a girl named Beat is trying to bring it back. However, she will need help once the cops and other new enemies arise to put a stop to her. During gameplay, players can explore the world and interact with characters to take on side quests. On the other hand, gameplay features arcade-like action where players use a two-button layout to tap to the beat.

We’ll keep you updated on the release of Unbeatable. For now, enjoy the new trailer below:
