Photography Adventure ‘Umurangi Generation’ Gets PC Release Date

Playism announced that the Origame Digital-developed sci-fi photography adventure, Umurangi Generation, will launch on PC-via Steam on May 19. There’s currently a free demo available on the Steam page.

Umurangi Generation is set in the future, which doesn’t seem to be that great. Players will explore the Tauranga Aotearoa in an attempt to take pictures known as Photo Bounties. These bounties are given descriptions such as “7 Birds,” which means players will need to take a photo with these objects in them.

Each level features bonuses and various achievements that can lead to new equipment for your camera. Additionally, players can look pick up film canisters, recreate postcards, fulfill timed delivers, and finds ways of fitting your friends in a photo.

Additionally, the game allows players to edit the pictures and develop them. Photos can even look better after editing then the raw photo that was taken. The game is meant to recreate a setting that real photographers will feel comfortable with as they frame images and develop memorable pictures within the game’s world.

The publisher released a new trailer for the game, which gives players a chance to check out the setting as well as the unique gameplay. It also shows how players have full control over where they go, which allows them to capture unique angles across a variety of subjects.
