Ufotable Reveals New The Garden of Sinners 15th Anniversary Artwork
Ufotable has revealed new key art for The Garden of Sinners, also known as Kara no Kyoukai, for the project’s 15th anniversary. This artwork was shared to promote a collaboration with the studio’s DINING – HIROMA, which was opened this Summer.
For those unaware, The Garden of Sinners originated as a light novel series written by the prominent Kinoko Nasu, also known for the Fate series and other Type-Moon IPs. It follows protagonist Ryogi Shiki, who, after surviving an accident, acquired the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, letting its users perceive death as Points or Lines.
Several narrative and character elements of this series would make their way into the arguably more well-known Tsukihime and Fate/stay night, which The Garden of Sinners is set in an alternate universe from.
The Garden of Sinners produced a variety of media, including manga and Drama CDs, as well as several films, with the first being titled The Garden of Sinners: Overlooking View.
